Color Crush: Sisterhood - 2018

Color Crush is a new series of paintings which draws on work done in 2010-2012 and 1990. It is distinct from Cross Currents but as with all my paintings, color is the defining element. This series, combining curved and straight lines, is more spatially open and subtle in movement. The similarities in color evoke a sort of sisterhood.
